Dmarket NFTs return to the top of the sales chart
DMarket has made a strong comeback to the top of the NFT sales chart, leading the market for the first time since May. According to CryptoSlam data, the platform, which focuses on in-game virtual items for popular games like Counter-Strike and Dota 2, recorded an impressive $1.82 million in sales on Wednesday.
This surge has propelled DMarket up the all-time sales leaderboard, where it now occupies the 14th spot with $481.7 million in total sales, inching closer to Meebits in the 13th spot. The day saw 7,864 unique buyers and 6,513 sellers engaging in transactions on DMarket, highlighting its active and growing community.
In second place for the day was DeGods, a top collection on the Solana blockchain, which achieved $878,547 in sales. DeGods is currently the third-highest Solana collection in all-time sales, with $170 million, and sits at 38th on the overall market charts.
The Ethereum-based Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) secured the third spot, generating $600,095 in sales across 21 unique buyers and 24 sellers. The average price of a BAYC NFT was a notable $25,003.99.
Rounding out the top five were the Immutable-based Guild of Guardians Heroes with $537,515 in sales, and Solana's DogeZuki Collection, which brought in $381,320.
On the blockchain side, Ethereum dominated Wednesday's sales, leading with over $3.87 million, followed by Solana with $3.17 million. This resurgence of DMarket, coupled with strong performances from other collections, underscores the dynamic nature of the NFT market and the continuous interest in blockchain-based digital assets.
